Katie Wasson, PT, DPT, AIB-VR is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy at Fitness Quest Physical Therapy in Punta Gorda, Florida. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, she has grown up a big sports fan her whole life. This not only made her occupation choice easy, but also her college choices.
Katie obtained her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2015 from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She earned her Doctoral degree for Physical Therapy in 2020 at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Katie specializes in vestibular, neuromuscular, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Her treatments aim to utilize the most recent evidence-based research, in order to optimize rehabilitation outcomes for her patients.
In her free time, Katie enjoys the beach, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, and attending sporting events.

About Our Location
Fitness Quest Physical Therapy in Punta Gorda, Florida opened it’s doors in May of 2004. Three months later we found ourselves in the middle of ground zero after Hurricane Charley wreaked havoc on the town of Punta Gorda and the surrounding areas. We were fortunate to withstand the destruction and were able to start treating patients again shortly after. Our office is located on the corner of Mary Street and Olympia Avenue just east of the Downtown Punta Gorda area.
