  • Biofeedback, core strengthening, education, electrical stimulation, ergonomic education, home exercise programs, joint mobilization/manual therapy, manual lymph drainage, massage therapy, neurological education, neuromuscular re-education, pain management, postural re-education, relaxation training, therapeutic exercise and visceral manipulation are all possible combined therapies to help treat these dysfunctions.

  • It is the patient’s choice where they receive therapy. Most physicians will send their patients to therapy that is convenient to their home or work, unless they have financial interest in the establishment.

  • Each patient is evaluated with specific goals set to return them to their highest level of function. Your physician may have specified the number of visits per week he or she would like you to attend therapy or left it open to the therapist. Generally, 2-3 times per week is recommended to maximize results. We will work with your schedule and condition to achieve the best results.

  • We take pride in everything we do. We take our time to look at each client’s body, lifestyle, and concerns in order to develop specialized programs tailored to the individual. We continue assessing at each visit and are able to get each patient to reach their goals because we listen and work hard to get them there. A large number of our clients are referred by former patients who have been exceptionally pleased by the attention and care they receive while in our hands. We strongly believe each individual deserves personalized attention beginning with our top-notch customer service at the front desk to the skilled therapists and staff who guide you through individualized programs that bring results.

  • HEP stands for home exercise program, and it’s a vital part of any treatment plan. It’s one of the most important aspects of physical therapy. If you started anything new in life: a workout, a new job, a new hobby, etc, you would benefit immensely from doing it every day as opposed to a couple times per week. It will usually take 10-15 minutes of your time at home to engage in a few stretches/exercises that will compliment the progress you make in our office. Don’t worry, they generally require little to no equipment, and equipment will be provided to you if you need it (such as an exercise band).

  • You should wear loose clothes that make it easy to move. We also recommend sneakers. Workout clothes will work, but any comfortable clothing will work fine. Plan on giving your therapist access to your area of concern. The less your clothes restrict your movement and the more comfortable you are, the better. Shorts, yoga pants, or athletic/loose fitting pants and a tee shirt are all good options.

  • Our therapists are fully licensed physical therapists. If you are wondering about the specific staff in your clinic, please visit the location page for your area and read the bios. We also employ several physical therapist assistants (PTA’s), at our locations. These professionals are also licensed and highly qualified to assist you in your treatment.

  • Yes, we regularly communicate with your doctor. This includes initial evaluations and occasional progress notes. This is to:

    1. Ensure that the treatment you receive is consistent with what your doctor is recommending.
    2. Maintain a continuity of care between the professionals who are helping you.
