Fitness Quest Physical Therapy has proudly served Ellenton, Parrish, and the surrounding communities since opening this location in December 2017. Conveniently located near the border of Ellenton and Parrish, our clinic provides accessible, personalized rehabilitation services close to home.

Our experienced therapists and friendly office staff are committed to providing individualized care and a positive therapy experience. We work closely with each patient to help reduce pain, restore mobility, and return them to the activities they enjoy.

					I had total knee and rotator cuff surgeries within three months of each other (yes, brutal!) and was thankful that I found FitnessQuest in Ellenton to go to for PT. Initially I had gone to a business across the highway from the Parrish post office ((stay away from it!!)), and made no progress with my knee.  Fast forward to getting an appointment with FitnessQuest and progress was made with each subsequent appointment.  The physical therapists and PT assistants are phenomenal, listening to you and addressing your concerns as well as giving recommendation for things to do at home to hasten your recovery.  Highly recommend (Ellenton) FitnessQuest Physical Therapy.

					I had an injury to my knee in December. MRI showed that I lost cartilage. My doctor mentioned what this could look like long term and surgery was one of those items. She wanted me to start Physical Therapy first. In the meantime, I stopped working out, for fear that I would make it worse. I lost some strength and some confidence leading up to my first appointment. Erika did my fist initial appointment, where she assessed my knee and what I could do and could not do. She listened to my goals and came up with a customized plan and sent me home with a detailed (printed out instructions with a QR code for videos and an app tracker) plan to start at home in between appointments. The following week, I started working with Sherry and she was such a God send. She worked alongside me week after week, giving me tutorials, answering questions and honestly, taking away my fear. She challenged me week to week and pushed me just enough to get me back in the right place (and headspace) to get back to being active and working out again. She knew that was important to me and for my mobility. She would have me practice specific reps of moves I would see in my workouts to help me progress. She helped me realign my balance, strengthen other areas of my body that would help take pressure off my knee. Ultimately, she helped to get to the place that we could avoid surgery. Although I was officially dismissed, she gave me a wealth of knowledge, updated exercises to continue to do and knowing I can always call when and if I ever need to. What a gift she was and this practice and team is!

					The staff is friendly and personable, it's evident they care and are passionate about assisting in recovery. Erika was able to explain things to me in a way I could understand and gave me a print out for home that I could easily follow. I am currently recovering from a right knee replacement and will be seeking to return here when I get the left one done.

					Carrie, Erika, Charlie, and Sharon are all very knowledgeable in what they do. Sharon was my primary therapist and she was very patient and safely conscious when working with me. My right knee experienced intermittent positional pain of unknown origin and the goal was to strengthen my knee ligaments and tendons to maintain alignment while weight bearing. The pain is still a mystery, but I did notice a more stable knee from the specific exercises. If you want results then trust the team at Fitness Quest.

					One on one training with caring and professional staff. I was unable to stand from a chair without using my arms after hip replacement. After six weeks of rehabilitation training from Fitness Quest,  I'm now hands free when getting out of a deep seated position.
